Marine Biology

 Book Report

 

Reports should be typed or neatly printed in blue or black ink.  Please use complete sentences as well as correct grammar and punctuation.  

 

The following information should appear at the top of the first page of your

report:

                   Title

                   Author

                   Publisher 

 

Your report must include all of the following and be at least one page in length.

It also should be written in paragraph form.  Do not simply write as though you are answering a set of study questions.

 

1.  Describe the main character(s).

2.  Describe the time and place in which the book is set.

3.  What was the main idea of the book? 

4.  Give a short summary of the plot (how the book begins, what is the

    challenge for the main character(s) and how is this challenge overcome?)

5.  If you were the main character, what would you have done?

6.  Why or how did you select this book?

7.  What did you like about the book? 

8.  What did you not like?

9.  What did you think was the best part of the book?

10. Would you recommend it to a friend?  Why?

11.  Would you like to read other books by the same author?  Why?

 

 

Book Reports are due October 8, 2003!

You may turn in your report anytime after September 12.
