Hours for students : 8:30 am - 3:15 pm. By extending the school day fifteen (15) minutes, Cocke County Schools are "building in" five (5) days that can be used in the event of inclement weather and schools are closed. If more than five (5) days are missed the original proposal below will become effective :

Proposal to make up days missed in the 2010-2011 school year is as follows:

Missed days six (6) - thirteen (13) will be added on to the end of the year excluding Memorial Day.

The required in-service day #5 will be moved to the end of any added student days.

If more then thirteen (13) days are missed, the calendar committee will reconvene to determine how additional days missed will be made up.
